Want to know the hardest part of making handmade soap from the cushy comfort of your home? Having the best soap-port! So, to keep your enthusiasm bubbling, we’ve included our simple step-by-step illustrated instructions. You’ll be a soap-making master in no time!

Clear instructions

Cut soap base into pieces

Cut the soap base into small chunks and place into a container. Heat soap, at 30-second intervals, stirring between each one. Melted base should be smooth and liquidy, with no lumps or chunks.

Add colorants

Add colorants to the melted soap.

Pour mixture into reusable mold

Slowly pour soap into mold. Soap should be hard enough to unmold in a few hours.

Let soap cool until hardens

Once completely hardened, pop the bars out of the mold. You can use your soap right away.

4 essential oils (strawberry, apple, pineapple, and fig)

Can kids use this kit without supervision?

The box components and ingredients are dermatologically tested and harmless. We do not recommend letting your kids use this kit without your supervision unless you are comfortable with your kids doing things like cooking on a stove (to heat up the soap base in a pan) or using a plastic knife (to cut the components for making the soap).

Our Hobby boxes can be great for all ages! You can do them yourselves, experiment together with your friends and family, have a meaningful and fun time with your children, or even give the box to your child – all of the components are safe!

I am very happy with my order of the Soap Making Kit. I appreciate all of the inclusions. This only needs the use of a household microwave, as a plastic melting cup is included with a pour spout. This is a great kit for beginners to make gifts, or the kit itself would make a great gift. Gift wrapping supplies are included for the prepared soaps. The molds provide a great variety. It's packaged well. My favorite inclusions are the scent additives, they smell very pleasant!

This comes with everything you need to make soaps, and this is a great gift idea!
I love that you can microwave the cup in the kit and when you are done, it basically cleans itself. Seeing as how it's soap, Some hot water and a good rinse and cleanup is done. I love the little boxes that comes with it. I wish there was more than 2. Comes with cute ribbons and accessories!
I would purchase this again!
